I have always been interested in anthropology, but never studied it. However, I hoped to bring some anthropological subjects into my chosen documentary photography topics. In my focus on journalism, I explored the medium of photography and videography. I would say that documentary photography is not so concerned with going in-depth into a subject. The subject is researched just enough to be able to present it to an audience, and not more. Documentary photography is about telling stories.
